Sri Guru Granth Sahib The Eternal Redeemer

T
he Lord of Love and Mercy, Sri Guru Nanak Sahib, having graced this

earth with His physical presence for a period of 240 years from 1469 to 1708,

passed on His legacy to Sri Guru Granth Sahib His true, live and eternal Representative

for the redemption of posterity.

Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj provides us a perfect model worthy of emulation.

He proved by His unique life-style that whatever was prescribed in holy Sri Guru

Granth Sahib was to be contemplated with all humility and veneration, was to be

diligently followed and was to be practically lived. There was complete harmony

between the eternal truths Babaji talked of and His own truthful living.

Babaji had taken an unprecedented plunge into this Ocean of Divinity with all

yearning and with all mental and physical faculties well directed and focussed

on the Supreme Goal . He had absolute conviction that Sri Guru Granth Sahib

was God and He yearned, thirsted to realize and see God face to face, to intimately

talk to His beloved Lord, to humbly and lovingly serve Him with His own hands.

God revealed Himself to Baba Nand Singh ji Maharaj in all His Glory and that is what Sri

Guru Granth Sahib stood for and meant to Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj. Whereas for

others Sri Guru Granth Sahib represents a mere holy scripture, for Baba Nand Singh Ji

Maharaj, Sri Guru Granth Sahib stands for the all powerful, luminous, omni-present God.

Ardaas by Mahan Babaji before the Holy Sri Guru Granth Sahib included this :

Dasoon Patshahion Ke Saroop
Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj
Hazara Hazoor, Jahara Jahoor,
Kalyug ke Bohit, Nam Ke Jahaj,
Halat Palat Ke Rakhiak
Lok Parlok Ke Sahayak
Dasaan Patshahian Di Hajar Nazar Jaagdi Jot
Sahib Ji De Path Darshan Da
Dhian Dhar Ke Bolo Ji Sri WaheGuru

Kalyug Ke Bohit, Nam Ke Jahaj ; the great redeeming ship for an entire

epoch of kalyug is not a small ship designed for a fraction of mankind only

or for a small period of few hundred or few thousand years; this Divine ship

has unlimited capacity like God to ferry across the entire mankind across this

burning ocean of kalyug.

This Divine ship transcends all imaginative limits of space, and time and age. Guru

Nanak the Fifth, compiled and composed Sri Guru Granth Sahib. The Lord had assumed

a human garb as an epoch maker for the redemption of suffering humanity.

Kalyug Jahaj Arjun Guru Sagal Shrist Lag Bitroh

Sri Guru Granth Sahib (1408)

In this Dark Age - Kalyug, Guru Arjun is the ship (saviour), attached to Him the world is ferried across.

One who has taken shelter, protection of any hymn of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, should consider himself accommodated in this Greatest Saviour ship, Kalyug Ke Bohit, Nam Ke Jahaj Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib.

Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj

In this Dark Age - Kalyug, Guru Arjun is the ship (saviour), attached to Him the world is ferried across.

Immensity of this ship can be easily comprehended from the redeeming power of

each and every hymn of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. It can accommodate the whole

human race, generations after generations, for all times to come. This great ship is

designed for global and universal salvation and is not to be viewed as restricted to

only one individual, group, community, sect or nation. Elixir of Nam flows from each

hymn of Sri Guru Granth Sahib and each hymn contains the ambrosial words of Sri

Guru Nanak Sahib sung in the Glory of the Lord.
